Estonian Winter Wedding

Estonian Winter Wedding

Famous Estonian Fine Art Photographer Siiri Kumari took us to this Estonian Winter Wedding.

Maria became her second shooter. We prepared and packed our gear and travelled to Rapla in Estonia. The landscape was not just beautiful, it was eerie and also very cold. The wedding took place in the countryside and we had to search for the right turns. After a couple mistakes, we arrived on time. We loved the brides outfit, a traditional Estonian wedding look and that’s all you need for the Estonian Winter Wedding Dream.

It was a very private wedding. Piret and Jaanus wanted a very short wedding photoshoot. Sometimes you have better things to do on your wedding day, I guess. For us it was also fine, because the very next day we had to be in Sweden. The wedding couple had arranged a winter carriage ride. While the carriage was getting prepared, we decided to pose the them together with the horses. Sandy provided a layer of fog in the background, almost burning his hands and also scaring the horses a little bit. 🙂 We hope that you enjoy our photos, perhaps as much as we did being part of this stunning romantic winter wedding in beautiful Estonia.
