Steph and Sean travelled from Ireland to celebrate their destination wedding at Grande Real Santa Eulália in the Algarve, Portugal. Set above the sea and just moments from the beach, the venue offered a beautiful setting for a wedding that felt relaxed, elegant and full of atmosphere.
Both spent the morning at the hotel, getting ready with family and friends while looking out over the Atlantic. There was a calm energy to the day from the very beginning, with everything unfolding naturally in one place and the ceremony just a short walk away.
Their vows took place during a rooftop ceremony overlooking Santa Eulália Beach. With open views of the coastline and the sea stretching into the distance, the setting felt striking without losing its sense of intimacy. It is easy to see why Grande Real Santa Eulália is such a sought-after wedding venue in the Algarve.
After the ceremony, we filmed with them along the cliffs and shoreline near the hotel. The soft coastal light, the movement of the ocean and the texture of the landscape created a setting that felt unmistakably Portuguese while still allowing the focus to stay on them and the feeling of the day.
