Alex and Ealah could not imagine getting married anywhere other than Portugal. For their destination wedding in the Algarve, they chose Monte do Serrinho near the historic village of Alte — a secluded wedding venue surrounded by olive groves and citrus trees, perfect for couples seeking privacy, character and understated rustic elegance away from the tourist crowds.

Travelling all the way from Australia, Alex and Ealah brought such a relaxed and joyful energy with them. From the very beginning, being around them felt effortless — as though we had known them for years.

Their wedding day at Monte do Serrinho unfolded with real ease, starting with a calm morning in the spacious bridal suite before moving into an intimate outdoor ceremony beneath centuries-old carob and olive trees. Even after years of photographing destination weddings in Portugal, their vows still moved us deeply.

Cocktails by the pool led into a beautifully styled dinner, where soft cream roses and warm wooden details created an atmosphere that felt timeless, elegant and personal. Every part of the celebration felt thoughtful and true to them.

Alex and Ealah trusted us completely, giving us the freedom to document their Monte do Serrinho wedding in a natural and honest way — something we are always deeply grateful for.
