Jimmy and Christina travelled from Toronto to celebrate their destination wedding in the Algarve, bringing family and friends to Portugal for a joyful day by the sea.
The day began with preparations at Vilalara Grand Hotel, where everything unfolded in a calm and elegant atmosphere. With its coastal setting and refined interiors, it was the perfect place for those quieter moments before the ceremony — the anticipation, the laughter, and the excitement shared with the people closest to them.
Their ceremony took place at Pestana Viking, overlooking the dramatic Algarve coastline. Surrounded by loved ones who had travelled from Canada and beyond, Jimmy and Christina exchanged vows with the Atlantic stretching behind them — a setting that felt both expansive and deeply intimate.
After the ceremony, we travelled with them to Senhora da Rocha for their couple session. The iconic chapel above the sea gave this part of the day a timeless atmosphere, and from there we continued to Praia Nova, where the golden cliffs and soft sand created a relaxed and romantic backdrop. These quieter moments away from the celebration always add depth to a wedding film, allowing space for real connection.
As the evening continued, the celebration carried on with warmth and energy back at the reception. Speeches, embraces and a lively dance floor reflected the joy of two families coming together across continents.
