Jodie & Anthony – Elopement Film at Senhora da Rocha Chapel, Algarve

Jodie & Anthony

An Intimate Elopement at Senhora da Rocha, Algarve Portugal

Jodie and Anthony travelled from Ireland to celebrate their elopement at one of the Algarve’s most iconic locations — the cliffside chapel of Senhora da Rocha.

Set above the Atlantic Ocean, Senhora da Rocha offers a setting that feels both dramatic and deeply intimate. With the sea below, the wind along the cliffs and only a small number of guests present, their ceremony felt calm, emotional and beautifully personal.

They chose a shorter coverage focused on what mattered most: the ceremony itself and a relaxed portrait session afterwards. It was a reminder that a meaningful wedding film does not depend on a long timeline, but on real connection, atmosphere and honest moments.

Their ceremony was led by Helen Corrigan, whose warm and personal approach suited the day perfectly. Every word, glance and emotion had space to breathe, which gave the film a natural sense of intimacy.

After the ceremony, we explored the surrounding cliffs and coastal paths around Senhora da Rocha. The combination of soft light, ocean views and the quiet joy between them created the kind of atmosphere that translates beautifully into film.

Their elopement film captures the feeling of a day that was simple, heartfelt and unforgettable — proof that even the most intimate wedding celebrations can feel deeply cinematic when documented with care.

If you are planning an elopement in the Algarve or anywhere in Portugal, and you are looking for a wedding film that feels natural, emotive and true to your day, we would love to hear about your plans.
